Internet Resources for Artists

EBSQ the community is made up of artists, photographers, crafters, and people who simply love art (or hanging out with artists). Pretty much every continent is represented. Pretty much every media is represented, too. Our members come from all walks of life. Some are novice artists, newly embracing their creativity. Some went to art school. (Some even taught art school.) Most did not, but you'd be hard pressed to tell who is who based upon the quality of their art. Many have gallery representation. Some even own their own galleries. (Most do not.) But what all of these diverse artists share in common is a desire to put their work out there and have a direct conversation with the people who love (or even hate) their art.

Omaha Artists, Inc. was organized to promote the appreciation and development of fine art in and around the Omaha, Nebraska, area. Membership is coprised of active artists ranging from successful professionals to "Sunday painters." The group was begun in February 1946, with thirty members, and over the years has shown great progress both in size and scope of activities.

The Wet Paints Studio Group is a club of over 200 artists dedicated to promoting fine arts in the New York, Long Island area. Wet Paints has been in existence for 59 years, and provides workshops, visiting artist demonstrations, and networking opportunities for Long Island artists.

Fort Myers Beach Art Association - Our purpose is to further and provide education in the cultural aspects of life on Ft. Myers Beach and its environs; to promote the study, practice and appreciation of art; to hold art exhibitions and programs which are open to the public; and to encourage art instruction of children and junior artists.
