One of my greatest pleasures is seeing how much people love my work. This is why I do not only create work for myself, but for everyone else to enjoy on a personal level. So, if you have a certain portrait, picture or landscape that you would love incorporated into my style of work, please contact me and let me help you.

I would like to present a few facts on the origin of the word "collage" and a tutorial on one of the different methods of creating this form of art. There are many ways to accomplish this process but I have chosen here a special Japanese paper and any form of aqua media hoping that some beginner artists and others will discover a different way of having fun doing a watercolor painting.

My love for painting on clothing began in the mid Eighties in Junior High School. We were given the general sheet of paper or poster board to work on, yet I preferred working on denim jackets and t-shirts. I did not want to create art pieces on paper that would end up being filed away in a school storage room drawer once completed (or worse yet..the trash can due to limited space availability). I wanted my art to live out loud in the world and by creating functional art I believe that I succeeded.

Gatorhead is Jessica Stratton, an artist and teacher residing and working in Ithaca, NY. A close friend gave the nickname Gatorhead to Jessica in her undergraduate college years. The concept of an original came about when the aforementioned artist began painting everything in sight during those same years. If it stood in one place long enough, Jessica simply put paint on it. And every piece she painted had its own unique style. In other words, each piece was an "original." And she's not only been painting fine art, but wooden furniture and craft pieces regularly for more than three years now.

Since the time I was a child I found interest in art beginning like most children with coloring books. I could not bring myself to occupy my time with the figures the books provided. Immediately I was interested with what was beneath the skin, mind, and emotions; of these artist.
