I think that my biggest fault, as far as my art is concerned, is my demand for detail. The quest for "photo-real" renderings is something that is buried deep within me. I cannot be satisfied unless the finished product is as close to a reproduction of the original photo as humanly possible. It is this desire for realism that keeps me coming back again and again, looking for that one "new trick" that will bring me closer to perfection.

In my drawings and paintings, I try to reflect an 'Old Master' style where the beauty of the form is brought to the forefront. I feel that everyone is beautiful in their own way, and I strive to bring out their unique qualities.

We all start with the same pattern in our faces that of a wide-eyed child looking at the world in total wonderment. Our experiences, the fears and fantasies of our lives, as they unfold, put the distinctive lines in each of our faces.
