Karl Karalus worked as an engineer for the Minneapolis, St.Paul and Sault Ste. Marie Railroad for 23 years. But painting wildlife was what he loved best. In 1971 he resigned from the railroad, moved his family to Florida and began to paint full time. Since then he has made his living painting the birds he loves, becoming one of the country's foremost wildlife artists. He has illustrated eight books and co-authored three. He is perhaps best known for Owls of North America (Doubleday, 1974 ) and Wading Birds of North America (Doubleday, 1981)

I have created this site to share the work I have done over the past twenty seven years of painting . Some of these pictures are for sale in galleries and some have been sold or donated for auction to raise money for charities. It should indicate on the main page for viewing the painting which paintings are for sale in a gallery, which gallery, and how to get in touch with the gallery if you are interested in the painting. As you can see, although I am a practicing family physician, I have also had a second career as an artist. These are not all the paintings that I have done, but a selection of some. It is my hope that you will enjoy seeing them 'all at once' as much as I have enjoyed assessing my work over time and putting this site together.

Most of Osnat's paintings and ideas are inspired by the nature around her, human emotions, sensibility, and invigoration. This inspiration is well emphasized by the titles of her creations. Painting is a big part of Osnat's life routine. She enjoys painting with acrylic colors on single, diptych, triptych canvases. Osnat is noted for her excellence in creating a sequence of images, that when put together, make a visual celebration to the eye and mind.
